Hurts, doesn’t it? And tools make it so easy to do this. Even though your tool probably reminds you where you’re at, your brain often just starts running after the next task. And usually your fingers are even a few steps ahead of your brain. And then you get into trouble. All because you’re trying to get your work done as fast as possible.
Wouldn’t it be nice if your favorite tool could give you some sort of visual indicator of your location to help avoid these traumatic, self-inflicted injuries?
While I can’t talk about features in products we haven’t released yet, or talk about release dates, I can assure you that we’re listening, and that the next version of SQL Developer is shaping up nicely and will make many of you more productive, happier, and less prone to code yourself out of a job.
